OUR REUPHOLSTERY PROCESS
To meet the diverse needs of our clients, we’ve developed a unique service approach. With a few simple steps, we can ensure you get the best possible results. When we offer our reupholstering services, our foremost priority is to save you time and money, whilst delivering perfect reupholstered solutions.
1/ CONTACT US TO ORGANISE A VISIT AND RECEIVE A FREE QUOTE
Because there are so many options in terms of reupholstering your furniture, we have found it best to commence the process with a quote and perhaps a brief discussion outlining your needs. We understand that it can be inconvenient to drive across the Gold Coast for a quote on your reupholstery job, and for this reason, we offer an initial quote over text or email. All we need to give you a quote is some pictures of the furniture that needs reupholstering, and some information regarding your precise issue. Specifically, we will need at least one photo of your lounge chair – or any other such furnishing – as a whole and some indication of what your budget is. If you are able to provide us with some measurements then that will make the process even easier. If you have a particularly large-scale or commercial reupholstering job, then we suggest you call us and we can discuss your needs in further detail. If you are satisfied with the quote you receive, then we can arrange for one of our local technicians to come and visit you at a suitable time. We will call you one day before the appointment to confirm your availability.
2/ ONSITE VISIT AND DEPOSIT
About half an hour before we arrive for your onsite visit, you will receive a phone call from one of our upholstery technicians letting you know that we are on our way. When we arrive, you can discuss some of your ideas with us and we can offer you a few samples of some of the upholstery materials that we offer. As well as this, we will take a few measurements and conduct a brief external inspection of the item or items of furniture in question, so as to ensure that we order the correct quantities. On top of this, we welcome any of your additional input and we are happy to address any of your queries throughout the process. If you would like to streamline this step a little, then you are welcome to visit the showrooms of our suppliers and select a material through them; simply let us know what you have purchased and we can reupholster your furniture with ease. Before the end of our onsite visit, we will discuss pick up times with you and organise a 50% deposit for the materials that we order.
3/ WE WILL PICK UP YOUR FURNITURE, RECOVER IT, THEN RETURN IT TO YOU
We will phone you one day before we are due to pick up your furniture and our delivery team will call again about half an hour before they arrive to pick up your furniture, to make sure that you are ready. When our delivery team arrives, they will collect the 50% deposit discussed during our initial visit, unless you have already paid. They will then transport your furniture safely to our workshop where the recovering will commence. This should take no longer than 5-10 business days, provided all the materials are in stock. Following the completion of your reupholstering, we will return your furniture to you at a suitable time and we will call you one day prior to confirm, and half an hour before our estimated time of arrival. When your furniture is returned we can collect the final payments that remain outstanding.
